Founded in 1949, the Vespa Club of Geneva was one of the first Vespa clubs in the world. The members met every Wednesday at the “Café de l’Odéon”, and then at the famous café “La Taverne du Crocodile” on the rue du Rhône, which is decorated with a fresco by the celebrated Swiss painter Ferdinand Hodler. Today, there are more than 60 members in the club.
The VCG stand at GENEVA CLASSICS will be full of surprises for all visitors. You will find many rare and exotic models like the Vespa Sei Giorni. This limited series racing model was sold through dealers with the goal of participating in endurance and regularity competitions.
There will also be a three-wheeled Vespa transporter from the 50s, the famous winged caravan (the world’s smallest) pulled by a Vespa, a military Vespa TAP designed for parachuting with the troops of the French Army, and many other fascinating models.
In addition, there will be a Vespa boutique where you can buy T-shirts in the Club’s colours and many other attractive Vespa-related items.
