Corazzo Booth in VegasAfter making the heroic 22-hour drive from Portland, to attend High Rollers Weekend for the first time, we tore into town, ready to check in and ride. Stymied for a couple of hours by traffic, we eventually made it to rooms that suffered from the thousands of bacchanalian revelers who came before us. The Tropicana has seen better days. Although the 80-degree temperatures and “10 pound margaritas” helped get us over it quickly.
Special thanks to Eric P. for putting on such a sweet show and getting the likes of Dave Wakeling/English Beat to entertain us humble scooterists.
We rode; we played the tables a bit, explored old Vegas, and shot the crap out of machine guns at the Gun Store before we left. The Corazzo Girls are fierce.
Vegas, if you’ll have us, we’ll be back.
Thanks to the efforts of Eric Porter and the Heat Seized Scooter Club, the rally was a huge success, the music and parties were great, and activities were cool. Vending was awesome, and we had the opportunity to meet tons of Brits who came over for the rally. Their scooter-club regalia and outfits are, as a standard, much better than ours. Hopefully next year, the schedule stays the same and we can do it all again!
